Arkan Legal Translation · Terms

Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 21/07/2026. These terms apply to translation and related services provided by Arkan Legal Translation, a legal translation office in Dubai, UAE, operating under UAE Ministry of Justice License #701. Sending us a document or approving a quote means you accept them.

Quotes and payment

  • We read the document before quoting. You receive the scope, the price, and a delivery time, and work starts only after you approve them.
  • The quote covers what was reviewed. If the document changes, pages are added, or new information arrives after approval, we explain what changes and confirm any cost before proceeding.
  • Delivery times are confirmed per job. Where a delay on our side occurs, we tell you as soon as we know.

Certification and acceptance

Where certification is required, the translation is stamped and signed under MOJ License #701 by the named licensed translator, and prepared to the requirements of the receiving authority you name. The decision to accept any document rests with the authority receiving it; we do not and cannot guarantee acceptance. See our Service Standards.

What we are, and are not

Arkan is a licensed legal translation office. We translate; we do not provide legal advice, draft or amend legal documents, notarise, or advise on the legal effect of a text. Where a document needs a lawyer or a notary, we say so.

Corrections

If a correction is needed because of our mistake, we correct it promptly and at no extra charge. If the source document changes, new information is supplied, or the receiving authority asks for a different format, we explain the required update and confirm any cost before proceeding.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide complete, legible copies — every page, both sides where stamps exist.
  • Confirm the spelling of names as they appear on passports or official records.
  • Tell us the receiving authority and any deadline. The destination decides the preparation.
  • Ensure you are entitled to have the document translated.

Liability and law

Our responsibility for any job is the work itself: to correct our mistakes as set out above and, where we have failed to deliver the confirmed work, to refund what was paid for the undelivered work — see the Refund and Cancellation Policy. We are not responsible for decisions of receiving authorities, for errors present in the source document, or for delays inside authorities we do not control. These terms are governed by the laws of the UAE, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction.
