Court Document Translation in Dubai

Proceedings before the UAE courts are conducted in Arabic. A document in another language going into a court file normally needs a certified Arabic translation — and a court file punishes small errors: a case reference copied wrongly, an exhibit renumbered, a date misread. When you send a court file, tell us the hearing or filing date. We read the file before quoting and tell you what is achievable before you commit.

What Counts as a Court Document

• Judgments and orders — including foreign judgments being submitted for recognition or enforcement.
• Claims, defences, and memoranda — the pleadings that carry the case.
• Affidavits and witness statements — where the signer’s exact words matter.
• Expert reports — technical content inside a legal wrapper.
• Legal notices and summonses — dates and deadlines are the substance.
• Evidence bundles and exhibits — contracts, correspondence, invoices, and records attached to a filing.

How Court Files Are Handled

• Exhibit numbering and document order are preserved. The bundle you file matches the bundle the court reads.
• Dates, amounts, case references, and party details are exact. They are checked against the source, character by character.
• Ambiguity stays visible. Wording that is unclear in the original stays unclear in the translation rather than being quietly tidied up — if the source is ambiguous, we ask.
• Missing pages are reported before work starts. If a bundle skips a page or an exhibit, we say so before starting rather than after.
• Certification where required. The translation is stamped and signed under MOJ License #701 by the named translator.

Certified legal translation is Arabic ↔ English, handled in-house by the licensed translator. For other languages, send the document first and we confirm availability.

Deadlines, Honestly Handled

Court work usually arrives with a date attached. We do not promise blanket turnarounds — a hearing bundle of three hundred pages and a single-page notice are different jobs. What we do: read the file, tell you what is achievable by your date, and say plainly if it is not. If we cannot meet a filing deadline, you hear that when you send the file, not after.

What to Send

• The complete file — every page, every exhibit, both sides where stamps exist.
• The case reference and the court or committee it is before.
• The hearing or filing date.
• Party names as they appear on passports or trade licenses, so spellings match the record.
• Any earlier translations in the same matter, so terminology stays consistent.
