Police Clearance Certificate Translation in Dubai

Certified Arabic ↔ English translation of police clearance and good-conduct certificates — for immigration, employment, residency, and licensing files.

MOJ License #701 · Khaled Mohamed · Arabic ↔ English

This document has one trap the others do not: a clock. Police clearance certificates are commonly accepted only within a set period after issue, and the receiving authority decides that window. So before anything is translated, we look at the issue date and ask where the certificate is going — a translation of an expired certificate is a perfectly accurate document that no longer does its job.

Where Police Clearance Translations Are Used

  • Immigration and visa files — many countries require a clearance from each country of residence, translated into the receiving country’s language.
  • Employment — employers and regulators, especially for licensed professions and security-sensitive roles.
  • Residency and citizenship applications — supporting evidence of good conduct.
  • Adoption, custody, and court files — where conduct evidence forms part of the record.

What We Check Before Quoting

  • The issue date, first. If the certificate is near or past the window the receiving authority applies, better to know before paying for translation.
  • Your name, against the passport — including any previous names the certificate records.
  • The issuing authority and reference numbers — named as they appear, transcribed exactly.
  • Stamps and the attestation chain. A clearance issued abroad and used officially in the UAE usually needs its attestation completed before translation, so the stamps appear in the certified copy. A UAE-issued clearance going abroad runs the route in reverse.
  • Both sides of the document — verification codes and stamps often sit on the reverse.

Certified legal translation is Arabic ↔ English, handled in-house by the licensed translator. For other languages, send the document first and we confirm availability.

What to Send

  • The certificate, front and back, all stamps visible.
  • Your passport page, for the name spelling.
  • Where it is going — the country and the authority — and any deadline the application carries.
